Yesteryear Collection

Arundel had an active inland port where coal was one of the goods regularly handled, especially in the late 18th and 19th centuries. Coal (along with timber, stone pots, iron and other materials) was transported via ship to and from Arundel’s quays, often in coastal and river trade.
